How CoachMax works

Who does what in CoachMax, from a rubric to feedback a learner can act on.

Help Center · Getting started · For everyone

1. The flow

  1. Your organization sets up its curriculum: weeks, the assignments learners do, and a rubric for each.
  2. Learners submit their work in CoachMax, or from your LMS.
  3. CoachMax grades it against your rubric, usually in about two minutes: a score for each part, with quotes from the learner's own work.
  4. Depending on your review rules, an instructor reviews it first or it goes straight to the learner.
  5. The learner gets feedback with next steps, can ask CoachMax questions about it, and can improve and resubmit.

2. Roles

  1. Org Admins set everything up: the curriculum, rubrics, people, integrations, plan, and branding. They can also review work.
  2. Instructors review CoachMax's grades, add their own feedback, override scores, and release results.
  3. Mentors see learners' work and results, but can't change grades.
  4. Learners submit work, read feedback, and resubmit.

3. Your organization's words

  1. Every organization names its own levels. This Help Center uses Curriculum → Week → Assignment, and Cohort for a group of learners.
  2. If your organization uses other words (for example Program → Module → Exercise), CoachMax shows those everywhere instead.
