1. What you need
- Your LMS administrator, once: registering an LTI 1.3 tool is an admin task in every LMS.
- Canvas: a school's or company's Canvas (an account admin adds a developer key). Canvas Lite (free) isn't confirmed to allow it yet.
- Moodle: any Moodle site, including MoodleCloud (a site administrator adds an external tool; no plugin needed).
- Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, and Sakai: a system or organization administrator registers the tool.
- Schoology: Enterprise (a System Administrator installs it). Free Basic accounts aren't confirmed to allow it.
- No admin, or a free plan? Use the Submit with CoachMax button in your course pages instead: grading and feedback work the same.
2. Register CoachMax in your LMS
- Open Integrations, click Connect an LMS, and pick your LMS. Not listed? Choose Other LMS (LTI 1.3).
- Copy CoachMax's Login (OIDC) URL, Redirect / launch URL, Public keys (JWKS) URL, and Domain into your LMS's developer key or tool registration.
- Paste your LMS's Client ID back into CoachMax and click Connect.
3. Use it in a course
- Add CoachMax as an assignment in a course.
- The first time someone opens it, CoachMax creates the curriculum and assignment and signs them in.
- Released scores go back to the LMS gradebook.
